Developing a Learning Plan by, I am on Acute Care duty ( Medicine):
a.)In light of the assigned practice setting, and drawing information from the competency profile,develop a learning plan. Identify at least 2-3 learning needs and reference those needs to the ” Competency Profile for LPN’s.
b.) Develop at least 2 learning goals to meet my learning needs ( SMART Goals)
c.) Clearly specify how you plan to achieve my goals,what resources I will need or use,the kind and amount of support and guidance I will require from preceptor or the nursing unit or other personnel ) . For my first week, I’ve learned to do glucometer ( sugar level test), In & Out, PVR ( Post Residual rate), and Enteral nutrition via PEG.
